The Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers delighted fans at Dodger Stadium.

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies, 6-4, at Dodger Stadium. Lirak Bazhunaishvili, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Michael Walsh, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 2 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 8-13. Jon Harris collected his 26th save.

With Los Angeles leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Bazhunaishvili hit a changeup from Jim Bruley for a 2-run home run. It was his 39th home run of the season and put the Dodgers ahead, 4-1.

Bazhunaishvili told a Los Angeles Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The Dodgers raised their record to 66-80.
