					| White Sox Topple Athletics, 7-2 |
					| The first-place Chicago White Sox picked up another win.
The 7-2 Chicago win over Oakland was due largely to Steve Castleberry. The White Sox right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Jacob Taylor, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 2 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 4-5.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Castleberry hit a circle change from Franklin Rojas for a 3-run home run. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the White Sox ahead, 4-0.

Castleberry told a Chicago Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

Chicago now has a 3-game win streak.
