Riding the 3-hit performance of the 29-year old left fielder Ricky Ayon, the Cincinnati Reds stopped the Washington Nationals, 14-0. The Reds raised their record to 68-72.

Cincinnati used the bat of Omar Quintana to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Reds ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We had a nice day," said Cincinnati skipper Jimmy Silveira II.
