					| The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers get after it. 
 The Texas Rangers beat the Boston Red Sox, 12-5, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Ray Llewellyn, in particular, was impressive. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4. Texas reliever Hector Aguado picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. J.J. Dean shouldered the loss. Mike Webb earned his 8th save in 8 chances.
 
 Llewellyn had a timely hit for Texas in the bottom of the sixth. With Boston trailing 5-4, he turned a 2-0 cutter into a 3-run  home run. It was his 10th home run of the season, making it 7-5, Texas.
 
 "I like our moxie," said Rangers manager Juan Smith III.
 
 Texas leads the American League West Division by 4½ games.
