					| Cleveland Befuddled by Salas in 6-0 Whitewash |
					| In an outstanding outing, Chicago White Sox starter Ricky Salas tamed the Cleveland Indians with a 4-hit shutout at U.S. Cellular Field today. The Chicago hurler went the distance, finishing with 16 strikeouts and no walks in the 6-0 win.
"He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Cleveland manager Austin Green. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."

This year Salas has posted a record of 17 wins and 5 losses with a 2.67 ERA. He has appeared in 25 games and struck out 179 in 185.2 innings.
