					| The St. Louis Cardinals went down to defeat to John York and his Milwaukee teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Brewers. York picked up the win for Milwaukee, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 12-9. Zach Purvis earned his 10th save in 12 tries. 
 The Brewers got a big at-bat from center fielder Lewis Thorpe Jr.. For the game, Thorpe Jr. was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run  home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Milwaukee a 2-1 lead.
