					| Yankees Tagged with 7-1 Loss |
					| The umbrellas came out during the Boston-New York contest at Fenway Park.
Boston Red Sox pitcher Ragnar Danielsson was in fine form, leading his team past the New York Yankees, 7-1. Danielsson, now 6-12, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 1 run.

Robbie Rogers was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Boston. The speedster had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jason Greene. It was his 22nd walk of the season.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Rogers told the Boston Bulletin.

With the win, Boston raised its record to 70-63.
