					| Cook Lifts Nationals to 8-2 Win |  
					| Washington took on New York in front of a lively crowd. 
 Behind a solid performance from first baseman Seth Cook, the Washington Nationals defeated the New York Mets, 8-2. Cook went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Nationals. The Nationals go to 52-80 with the win.
 
 Justin Bonner, the 23-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bonner contributed a run-scoring  hit-by-pitch in the top of the seventh inning to put Washington up, 4-2.
 
 "Nice to tuck this win away," said Bonner.
