					| The Detroit Tigers topped the Chicago White Sox, 4-3, in American League action at U.S. Cellular Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Detroit pitcher Ryan Sobocinski. Melvin Medellin notched his 1st save in 1 chances. Detroit, at 54-73, sits in second place in the American League Central Division. 
 Ryan Neal, the three-time Great Glove Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Neal contributed a run-scoring  sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Detroit up, 4-3.
