					| Visiting Brewers Beat Cardinals, 3-1 |
					| The Milwaukee Brewers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Nolan Stefanski, who muffled the St. Louis offense en route to a tight 3-1 Brewers win at Busch Stadium. Zach Purvis was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 9 save opportunities. St. Louis, at 58-69, has lost 4 straight.
Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Kisho Ito to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Every loss stings," said St. Louis manager Jeff Jones Jr.. "This one is no exception."
