					| Cubs Jolt Nationals, 6-4, with Late Rally |
					| The 6-4 Chicago win over Washington was due largely to Josh Kalman. The Cubs right fielder was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. George Poirier converted his 30th save in 33 tries. Chicago has now won 3 in a row.
Chicago took a 5-4 lead on Tim Hone's 3rd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Hone hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Washington pitcher Travis Plesz shaking his head.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Kalman. "And not try to do too much."
