Terry Tuckfard left his imprint on the 7-2 Chicago win against the Kansas City Royals. Tuckfard, who is a five-time All-Star, was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Chicago pitcher Steve DiDomenico got the win, upping his record to 6-5. John Hall got the loss. With the win, Chicago pushed its record to 62-53.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Tuckfard hit a run-scoring single off Kansas City hurler John Hall. It was the 85th hit of the season for Tuckfard and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"We'll try to build on that win," Tuckfard told the Chicago Chronicle.
