					| Loss to Marlins Extends Cincinnati Losing Streak |
					| Miami starter John Bialon pitched well against the Cincinnati Reds at Marlins Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. In 8 innings, Bialon surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The 4th-place Reds have dropped 6 straight games.
Tamboril, Dominican Republic-born Alex Munoz came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Marlins trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Miami on top.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Cincinnati skipper Jimmy Silveira II, "and it cost us."
