					| Royals Walk It Off for 49th Win of Season |
					| The Kansas City Royals electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.
The Kansas City Royals stopped the Chicago Cubs, 7-6, at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals got a big game from Tony Prado, who went 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Kansas City is now 49-64, while Chicago is 61-53.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when catcher Mike Meyerhoff, who led the AL in triples with 24 in 2042, hit a run-scoring double. The Royals went on to win.

"This place sure got loud," said Chris Stephan, the Kansas City manager.
