					| Milwaukee Defeated by Atlanta, 4-2 |
					| The Atlanta Braves trumped the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-2, at Turner Field. Atlanta shortstop Luis Torres was terrific. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Atlanta reliever Alex Montes picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ernie Schmutz absorbed the loss. The National League East Division-leading Braves are 56-56.
Marc Peckermark had a timely hit in the bottom of the sixth inning. With two out and a runner on 3rd, the Atlanta center fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Braves in front, 4-2.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Torres told the Atlanta News.
