					| Win Lifts Rangers to 66-40 |
					| Texas rode a good effort from starter Wayne Perry to beat the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The final score was 7-2. Perry got the win, improving to 10-6. He allowed 4 hits and walked 5 over 6.1 innings. Perry allowed 2 runs. The first-place Rangers, at 66-40, now lead their division by 8 games.
The Rangers got an important contribution from center fielder Andy Bowman, who in the bottom of the second hit a forkball into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 26th double of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Perry.
