 The Philadelphia Phillies got a good effort from starter Enkei Wakamatsu in defeating the Miami Marlins at Citizens Bank Park. The final score was 4-2. The 4th-place Phillies sport a record of 45-60.
 
 Nick Canizales took Bo Chia deep in the bottom of the second. His grand slam home run put the Phillies on top, 4-0. In all, Canizales had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
 
 After the game, Philadelphia manager Paul Husch applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
