					| Victory Over Pirates Takes Grand Junction to 90-55 |
					| Bristol third baseman Vince Parham had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Parham went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, even as Grand Junction beat the Pirates, 5-4. Parham was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Grand Junction reliever Willie Sotelo, now 3-1. The loser was Jeff Hawkins. Naoto Sekine got the save, his 14th in 18 chances.
In the top of the second, Jordan Garcia had a big 2-run double off Jeff Hawkins. With the double, the Grand Junction right fielder put his team in front, 3-1. He went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs in the contest.

"This was a good win," said Garcia.

Grand Junction goes to 90-55. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
