					| Rockies Top Cubs, 10-8 |
					| The Colorado Rockies outlasted Yasuhide Kasahara and the Chicago Cubs, 10-8. Kasahara was impressive in the loss. The Chicago shortstop went 5 for 5 with a double, 4 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Bill Ogren, credited with the win, is now 1-4. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit. Tony Campos got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances.
Robert Watson provided a timely hit. The Colorado right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rockies on top, 10-8. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Watson.

The Rockies raised their record to 42-60.
