					| Close Win Moves Astros to 31-55 |
					| The Houston Astros took Arizona pitcher Murphy Quirk's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Minute Maid Park. The final score had Houston getting past the Diamondbacks, 4-3. Quirk went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 6. Houston pitcher Jorge Aguilar got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Murphy Quirk got the loss. The last-place Astros have won 4 straight.
In the bottom of the seventh, Houston catcher Troy Kenyon put his team on top. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit his 17th double of the year. Arizona pitcher Murphy Quirk served it up. Just like that, the Astros were ahead, 4-3.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Kenyon told the Houston Gazette.
