					| Late Rally by Mets Secures 4-2 Win |
					| The Washington Nationals got a superb performance from pitcher Julio Pizano. Still, it wasn't enough to beat New York. The Mets won the game, 4-2. Pizano threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Reliever Sam Schrecengost picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Lionardo Rabelo took the loss. With the win, New York upped its record to 44-40.
Jonathan Jenkins, who finished 5th in the NL in OPS with 1.006 in 2044, contributed to the New York win with a 2-run single in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"We did a lot of things right," said Jenkins.
