Great Stroke: Krott Gets 5 Hits
Michael Krott did a number on the Mustangs in the Grand Junction 32-6 victory today, and the number was 5. The Rockies right fielder banged out 5 hits in 8 at-bats at Suplizio Field to lead his club past the Billings Mustangs.

"I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Michael Krott struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mario Gomez in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Andy Bachman in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Fred Barbour in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Fred Barbour in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th.
