		| Nittany Lions Shut Out Tigers, Kalinsky Winner |
		| It wasn't easy but the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions made it look that way.
Starter David Kalinsky shut out the Clemson University Tigers despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions cruised to victory, 12-0. Kalinsky allowed only 2 hits and rang up 13 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

For the year Kalinsky has a 7-1 record with a 1.53 ERA in 9 starts.
