		| Loudner Sensational, 18 Ks |
		| Everything was working for Jimmy Loudner today at State Mutual Stadium. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The cutter was working.
In an unforgettable performance, the 20-year-old Loudner fanned 18 Cyclones and sparked the Rome Braves to a 18-0 victory over Brooklyn. He left Cyclones hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.

"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Rome manager James Zamarripa. "His location and command were really something."

In addition to collecting 18 strikeouts over 8 innings, Loudner allowed 1 hit and 1 walk in a superlative outing.

"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Loudner said with a smile.

This season Loudner has made no relief appearances with no saves. In 56.1 innings he has fanned 67 hitters and recorded 8 wins and 2 losses with a 3.04 ERA.
