					| The Atlanta Braves beat the Chicago Cubs, 9-4, at Turner Field. The win was due in part to first baseman Ike Trout, who was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double,  and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Atlanta has 8 straight wins, Chicago 5 straight losses. 
 Jordan Martin, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2045, aided the Atlanta cause with a 2-run  double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
 
 "We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Atlanta skipper Andres Wray II.
