Houston Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Astros shortstop Josh Froyd put his stamp on his team's 9-6 win over the Texas Rangers. Froyd went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Houston in the contest. The win belongs to Mike Cobb in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Brad Kramer took the loss for Texas. The Astros raised their record to 13-35.

Joe Gardner was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros center fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Gardner.
