		| Lowell's Tinoco Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits |
		| After a 5-hit effort to lead Lowell's 20-1 victory over the Los Angeles (NYP) Angels, left fielder Sergio Tinoco told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."
"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the New York-Penn League-level is really something special."

The 21-year-old player earned his accolades today at Academia de Abel Garcia with a spectacular 5-for-7 game against the Angels.

"His swing is getting there," said Spinners skipper Desmond Lindsay, who spoke glowingly of Tinoco after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Sergio did that to perfection today."

Sergio Tinoco flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Kyle Gray in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
