					| The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves, 4-3, at Turner Field. Philadelphia shortstop Lance Franklin had an outstanding performance. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double,  and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Ayaz bin Jalal picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Victor Munoz was tagged with the loss. Earning his 2nd save for Philadelphia was Nick Turner. 
 Franklin had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 cutter from Victor Munoz, he banged a run-scoring  double to left-center, giving the Phillies a 4-3 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Franklin.
 
 "Winning never gets dull," said Franklin.
 
 The win has Philadelphia at 15-17.
