Magdaleno Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Thursday, October 5th , 2045 The hot bat of Marlins left fielder Luis Magdaleno continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 15-14 loss to the Flames at Flames Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Luis Magdaleno hit a two-run home run off Sean Fowler in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This year Magdaleno is batting .436 with 53 home runs and 163 RBIs. |
