Injury Brings Season to End for Behrend Saturday, August 19th , 2045 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Greensboro's Gabe Behrend to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/18/2045 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Behrend said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Behrend has been out of action since he suffered shoulder inflammation. So far this season Behrend has no saves in 28 relief appearances with a 6-2 record and 1.69 ERA. |
