Kitchen's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Saturday, September 9th , 2045 Brett Kitchen was taking it slow and easy nursing a strained back muscle back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Fresno team official, "Brett was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 27-year-old Grizzlies reliever will be out at least another 4 days. Kitchen's record so far this season is 2-and-4 with no saves and a 5.21 ERA. He has given up 93 hits in 74.1 innings with 59 strikeouts. |
