Houston Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
|
Cleveland Indians starter Risto Pandev turned in an exceptional performance against the Houston Astros at Progressive Field, resulting in a Cleveland win, 4-0. Jorge Reyes recorded his 1st save for Cleveland. The Astros, now 5-10, continue their slow start.
The Indians had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-0, Cleveland, with one out. Houston, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Joe Gardner dug in at the plate, but on a 0-2 fastball, he struck out.
