ORI Awards Best Batter Prize to Ikeda Monday, October 24th , 2044 Kazuyoshi Ikeda is respected by most Arizona State University Sun Devils fans for his no-frills style of play. The 17-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Division 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (8-for-16) with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This year Ikeda is batting .302 with 13 home runs. |
