Marlins Heading to Semi-Finals Monday, October 31st , 2044 Dale Young has led his Miami Beach Marlins to a Quarter-Finals victory. Miami Beach's second baseman was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Joplin Blasters. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the Semi-Finals with a 12-2 triumph at Miami Beach Stadium in the deciding game. Young was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .375 average, as well as 1 home runs and 7 RBI. The Semi-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
