Blasters Win Round 1 Saturday, October 22nd , 2044 The dream of raising a championship banner in Joplin took a big step forward today. The Joplin Blasters have won the Round 1, eliminating the Calgary Flames to advance to the Quarter-Finals. Joplin won the final game 1-0 and the series 4-2. Josh Dalton was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .440 with a .500 on-base percentage. He drove in 8 RBI, had 3 home runs and scored 6 runs. The Quarter-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
