Myers Has Hot Hand, Bangs 6 hits Thursday, September 8th , 2044 It was a big day for Chris Myers and he brought the York Revolution along for the ride. Myers led his club to a 23-2 victory over the Canton Indians today at Revolution Field, smoking Canton pitching for 6 hits in 7 at-bats. The 19-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Chris Myers hit a solo-shot off Howard Allen in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This year Myers has hit at a .350 clip with 62 RBIs, 9 home runs and 68 runs scored. |
