Westover of Ohio State University Player of the Week Monday, December 19th , 2044 So far in his young career, Peter Westover has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Division 2 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Ohio State University Buckeyes shortstop hit at a torrid .389 clip as he collected 7 hits in 18 at-bats, 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Westover is hitting at a .310 pace with 10 home runs, 20 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
