League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, November 17th , 2044 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's University of Michigan-Pennsylvania State University contest at Ray Fisher Stadium. The Wolverines Tim Cordle and the Nittany Lions Teruhiko Ushijima will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Cordle is hitting .311 with 8 home runs. Checking out his stats for the season, Ushijima has registered 2 wins and 3 losses in 10 starts, 5.09 ERA and struck out 37 batters in 46 innings. |
