Falcon Leads Texas to 14-0 Win Over Oakland Sunday, August 28th , 2044 Javy Falcon was impressive at Globe Life Park in Arlington today in the Texas Rangers' 14-0 shutout victory over the Oakland Athletics. The Texas pitcher mystified the Athletics in a strong performance, giving up 2 hits and totaling no walks and 9 strikeouts. "Javy had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Texas manager Juan Smith. "It was something special to watch." His record this year is 17-1 in 24 starts and Falcon has a 2.16 ERA.
