He may have less experience than most of his Winter League Baseball peers, but that didn't slow Saulo Maina down at all in 2043.

At the age of 24, the Cincinnati (WIN) second baseman has been named the winner of the Division A Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .362 batting average and a .419 on-base percentage this year. In 41 games he piled up 54 hits, 9 doubles, 1 triple, 13 home runs, 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 30. Doug Hammertime of the Texas (WIN) Rangers finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Jim Skare of the New York (WIN) Yankees finished third.
