Beale Homers 3 Times Against Houston (WIN) Wednesday, January 13th , 2044 Los Angeles (WIN) Dodgers right fielder Blake Beale had a magnificent game against the Houston (WIN) Astros today, rocketing three balls out of Holman Stadium to help the Dodgers take the 9-6 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Beale went 3-for-4 with 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Los Angeles (WIN) manager Alex Abbott said later. "Seems like Blake found his home run stroke today." Blake Beale hit a three-run home run off Mike Staus in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Staus in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Rick Cotner in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. So far this season, Beale has recorded a .240 batting average with 37 hits, 10 home runs, 31 RBIs, 21 runs scored and a .293 OBP. |
