Bowersox Spins 18-K Game Tuesday, January 5th , 2044 Seth Bowersox of the Houston (WIN) Astros put on a pitching clinic today at Ballpark of Belvedere as he struck out 18 Cleveland (WIN) Indians in a 4-0 victory. Bowersox, who is tied for 2nd in the B with a 18.1 K/9 rate, was simply magnificent as he held the Indians to 2 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," Bowersox said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Bowersox's performance, Astros manager Grady Wells shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." Season-to-date Bowersox has no saves in no relief appearances with a 3-0 record and 3.86 ERA. |
