Landry Tames Royals, 4-0 Wednesday, December 16th , 2043 Dan Landry kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Texas (WIN) Rangers were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Kansas City (WIN) Royals at Surprise Stadium today. The right-handed Landry gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 6 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Landry said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Up to now Landry has recorded a record of 1-3. In 5 starts he has fanned 35 batters in 35 innings with a 6.43 ERA. |
