Yankees on to Conference Series Friday, November 11th , 2044 Fans of the Princeton Rays groaned when Bobby Melillo stepped up to the plate in the Division Series . And for good reason too, as the Pulaski Yankees player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Rays. The series was clinched tonight at H.P. Hunnicutt Field, with Pulaski coming out on top 17-7 in the deciding game. Melillo's strong series included a .700 batting average, with a .813 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Conference Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
