Braves Dominate, Sweep Wildcards Series Tuesday, November 1st , 2044 With a 11-7 victory at American Legion Field, the Danville Braves have completed a sweep of the Bristol Pirates in the Wildcards Series. "On to the Division Series and feeling good," said Erik Gretzky. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit." For the series, Gretzky hit .438 and won series MVP honors. He had 2 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
