Kenji Yokoyama was at the head of a Cleveland (APP) Indians hit parade today at Pioneer Park. The 20-year-old went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the Greeneville Astros that marched off with the 19-17 win.

"We didn't have it today," griped Indians skipper Ryan Jackson following the game. "Kenji did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching."

Yokoyama did more than fine, dominating the Astros at the plate during his record-making 5-for-6 performance.

"Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging reliever told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."

Kenji Yokoyama singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
