Nationals Chill George's Hot Streak Wednesday, October 12th , 2044 Philadelphia (APP) Phillies right fielder Josh George and his hot bat finally met their match today at Philadelphia Phillies Complex. The Washington (APP) Nationals snapped his 21-game hitting string, holding George hitless in 1 at-bat and also whipping Philadelphia (APP) for good measure. "We're real pleased with this one," Nationals manager Andy Vazquez said. "Nobody wants to be on the wrong end of a streak like that, and clobbering Philadelphia (APP) makes it even sweeter." This season George is batting .347 with 32 home runs. |
