Figueroa on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Sunday, October 9th , 2044 Grand Junction right fielder Juan Figueroa had a field day at Suplizio Field, battering Missoula pitchers and hitting for the cycle. Figueroa sparked the Rockies to a 27-18 triumph over the Osprey by going 6-for-6 with 4 RBI and scoring 6 runs. "I was seeing the ball great today," Figueroa said. "I'm glad it translated into results on the field." Juan Figueroa singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Thompson in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th. So far this year Figueroa is batting .295 with 13 home runs, 90 RBIs and 153 runs scored. |
