Muniz Hurls Shutout Saturday, October 1st , 2044 An efficient outing for Eddie Muniz usually means a win for the Bluefield Blue Jays and today was no exception. The 21-year-old left-hander held the Detroit (APP) Tigers to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 8 and gave up 2 hits in the 8-0 shutout. "Eddie really got it done out there today," said Bluefield manager Max Meany. So far this season Muniz has put up a .314 batting average with 43 hits, 8 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
