Mendez Receives Updated Diagnosis Tuesday, September 27th , 2044 The Connecticut Tigers have made it official: Fernando Mendez is headed to the injured list. The 24-year-old reliever has been out since 09/24/2044 with a torn labrum. He is expected to miss 5 months. Mendez has gone to the hill for 57 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 3-5 record with a 8.29 ERA.
